TS ICET is also popular as Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test which was conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) from Kakatiya University (KU). The test supports the UG qualified candidates to apply for the further studies might be for MBA or MCA admission. It’s already noted that KU started to conduct the TS ICET from 2005 till date many students tried their luck in getting admission for the TS ICET.

To everyone’s surprise TS ICET 2015 Examination is the First Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test after the two Telugu States are apart. TS ICET 2017 Notification Details:

  • The candidates can apply through online only.
  • The candidates can fill the online application form from March to April First week without any late fee.
  • However candidates can apply for the examination till third week of May with late fee as applicable.
  • The examination will be conducted on 18.05.2017 from 10 am to 12.30 pm in the respective examination centers.
  • The candidates can fill the application form from their official website tsicet.org

Required Qualifications:

Citizenship: The candidate should be a citizen of India and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date.

The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned. The candidates seeking admission:

For MBA

  • The candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree examination from any recognized University.
  • The Bachelor’s Degree should be of minimum 3 years duration
  • The candidate should have secured at least 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks in case of reserved categories in the qualifying examination.

For MCA

  • The qualifying Degree obtained by distance mode program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC
  • The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks for candidates belonging to general category while 45% marks in case of reserved categories in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
  • The Bachelor’s Degree should be of minimum 3 years duration
  • The candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree examination from any recognized University.
  • The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TS ICET-2017
  • Qualifying marks in TSICET-2017 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates

Note: Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:

  • Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers
  • Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time/evening/distance mode)
  • Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned.

How to Apply Telangana State ICET 2017 :

  • Aspirants who wish to apply for the TS ICET 2017 are suggested to visit official website as the application procedure should be carried via online mode. Here are the steps listed for the candidates ease in the page below.
  • Aspirants should keep in mind that the TS ICET 2017 Application Form will be filled online mode only at www.tsche.org
  • Search for the “TS ICET 2017 Application Form” on the menu bar of the home page.
  • Enter valid details such as Candidates Name, Parents Name, Address, EMail ID, Educational Qualification, Contact Number, and other necessary details of the candidates in the marked fields.
  • Soon after entry of the Necessary Information candidates are suggested to upload signature attested Recent Passport size photograph according to the University prescribed format.
  • Coming to the Payment of the TS ICET 2017 Exam can be done via Debit/Credit Card or through Internet Banking too.
  • Soon after the successful payment of the TS ICET 2017 Application Fee filing of the Application procedure is completed, the filled application should be saved on your monitor before submitting it.
  • Candidates are requested to take a printout of it for further reference.

TS ICET Instructions :

  • The candidates are instructed to apply through online mode only.
  • The candidates are required to fill the application form carefully without committing any mistake.
  • The candidates are informed to mention the date of birth as mentioned in their matriculation certificate.
  • The information once entered and submitted will not be changed in any circumstances.
  • The candidates are advised to provide active email ids and mobile numbers to contact them electronically.

Selection Process:

  • The candidate will be selected on the basis of his/her performance in the examination.
  • The test comprise of total 200 marks divided into three sections Section A, B and C.
  • Section A consists of Analytical Ability which comprises of Data Sufficiency (20 questions and Problem solving (55 questions).
  • Section B consists of Analytical Ability which comprises of Arithmetical Ability (35 questions), Algebraic & Geometrical Ability (30 questions), and Statistical Ability (10 questions.
  • Section C consists of Analytical Ability which comprises of Vocabulary (10 questions), Business & Computer Technology (10 questions), and Functional Grammar (15 questions) and Reading Comprehension (15 questions.
  • The test is designed to test the abilities such as vocabulary and mathematical skills of the candidates required to pursue the full time MBA and MCA.
  • The rank obtained in the examination of TSICET is valid for 2017-18 only.
  • The medium of paper is only English for Section C while Section A and B are available in English and Telugu language.

Application/ Processing Fee:

The candidates are required to pay an online amount of Rs. 350/- for candidates belonging to general and OBC category.

The candidates belonging to SC/ST are required to pay an amount of Rs. 250/-

The payments can be done through Gateways, Credit cards and Debit cards.

The above fee mentioned is without late fee which can be paid till First Week of April.

TSICET 2017 Answer Key:

The final Answer Key for the TSICET 2017 applicants will be released in the last week of May, 2017.

Results of TSICET 2017:

TSICET 2017 will release the Answer Key and after couple of days the TSICET 2017 Result will be declared in the May Month End. Candidates who get qualifying marks are suggested to appear for the Counseling process.
