SSC CHSL Syllabus 2018

Staff Selection Commission will be conducting SSC CHSL Tier 1 Examination from 20th March, 2018 to 20th April, 2018 for recruitment to DEO, Sorting Assistants/ Postal Assistants, Court Clerks and Lower Divisional Clerks. Candidates who are planning to appear for the exam must check the SSC CHSL Syllabus in order to clear the SSC CHSL Exam successfully. SSC CHSL 2017 Syllabus for Descriptive Paper:

Applying contenders for SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam are hereby informed that Tier II paper will be Descriptive Paper. This paper would include writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Application / Letter writing of approximately 150-200 words. The paper will be of 100 marks and you will have to secure the highest rank.

  • The Staff Selection Commission CHSL Exam will consist 200 marks.
  • There will be half marks deducted for every wrong answer.
  • The duration of the Exam will be 75 minutes.
  • There are 200 questions in CHSL Tier I examination.
  • This first written exam will be an objective type exam.

  • Candidates will be given 100 marks for good writing and correct answers.
  • The Application / Letter writing will be of approximately 150-200 words.

SSC CHSL Preparation Tips:

  • Prepare your study schedule carefully in order to give proper time to each and every subject according to the weightage in the examination and as per your grasping level on each subject. Don’t waste time on subjects you are good at.
  • Speed up on your calculus part because, in QT, candidates can score as much as they can easily.
  • Learn about the short tricks and consider them in the exam to calculate things quickly.
  • Take references from good books which are authorized. Avoid using series books and all which may simply prove out to be a waste of time.
  • Make sure you give time for revision regularly. In this case, you can make short notes for quick revision.
  • Consider to solve as many mock tests as you can. This method will help you to understand the paper pattern easily and simultaneously will increase your speed.
  • Solve questions which you are sure to answer only. Don’t go for guessing game as it can lead you to negative marking.
  • Always solve the questions which are easy and quick first.
