Sitaram Jindal Foundation was established in the year 1969, from a charitable organization, under the S J Jindal Trust. This trust performed just to serve the poor and the downtrodden. Education, Healthcare, and much rural development were provided being considered as a basic need to the people which was from varied sections of the society. While imparting such a chance, there were no bias made in caste or creed or even one’s belonging from the society. Many Pathshalas, Hospitals, Colleges and schools came into existence due to the foundation. Deprived and the poor got benefitted due to the scheme and many other vocational courses in hand. 500 Charitable institutions nearly obtain benefits from the scholarship whereby nearly a count of more than 12000 students get benefits from it. This activity has been carried since a span of 46 years. No affiliations with any commercial, religious or political means have been a key of the Scholarship. It has promised upon servicing any human which falls under its criteria ignoring whatever the creed, caste or religion of the person is. Categories awarded with the scholarship:

  • There has been a distribution of the Categories according to which the Sitaram Jindal scholarship shall be awarded.
  • ITI Students and Graduate students will be considered.
  • One pertaining to Postgraduate courses and diploma can also apply.
  • In Category A and B, many types of undergraduates is involved.
  • Courses like, B.A, B.Sc., BCA, BBM, Bachelor in Business Finance, B.SC Integrated courses (five years ), including the Environment engineers, with many Microbiologists, and  Social workers, one with  B.Com, also  BFA, BBA, and Bachelors in Finance, also B.Sc. in Agriculture, Environment Scientist and Journalists, One studying forensics sciences will be included in the Category C.
  • The scholarship shall be given to those who are pursuing post-graduation in M.A, M.Com, MBA, Master of Business in Finance OR International business, OR MVSc, OR MCA, OR Solar energy OR Urban management OR Human resources management, M.Sc., Organic agriculture, etc. with 5 years programme from which they have 2 years remaining to complete will be in the next cadre.
  • Category D has one who has a diploma in Civil engineering, Chemicals,  Machine tool tech, Electronics, Mechanical engineering, Computer science, Automobile tech, Metallurgy, Electrical engineering.
  • Cadre E has individuals from Graduate engineering courses, MBBS, Dental, Pharma, Homeopathy, Naturopathy can apply.

Sitaram Jindal Scholarship Eligibility Percentages:

These are the marks or at least the percentage which should be possessed to qualify,

  • For Category A girls must have at least 50 percent, while boys should have 60 %
  • For Category B Passing marks or in some cases, 40% for girls and 50% for boys will be accepted.
  • Category C will accept 55% for girls, and  65% for boys
  • Category D will accept students with 50% for girls and 60% for boys.
  • Category E will accept 55% for girls and 65% for boys.

How to Apply Sitaram Jindal Scholarship:

  • The applications shall be received in from the Sitaram Jindal Scholarship Scheme website
  • Through we do section there are many goals attained by the website or the department focused on.
  • They perform activities such as donating books, women empowerment, Efforts for R and D, development in social and rural areas, and the scholarships will be given up.
  • The scholarship table has enlisted all the courses and the distribution of the courses which are being offered the scholarships.
  • The amount paid as per month has been notified along with the courses.
  • The categories and the cadre about the documents which shall be notified in the advertisement are given below.

Amount as per the Courses:

  • For the individuals who are physically challenged or handicapped, they will be accepted if they have passing marks too.
  • At the time of repetition, 5% of relaxation will be given in percentages.
