Medak District Court is recruiting interested applicants for Stenographer for Grade III Position for empty seats in A.P. Judiciary Ministry services relating to Unit of Pri.District and sessions judge, Medak at Sangereddy. There are total 7 posts vacant and are available for recruitment process.

Required Qualification:

  1. The Applicant must at least have passed out 8th Standard in School.
  2. He/she must know to ride a bicycle.
  3. He/she must have some experience and knowledge about Computers or have done some course in Computers.
  • He/she must have passed English Typewriting examination in A.P.Technical Government Examination.
  1. If at any instance, applicants with the required educational qualification are not available, applicants with a slight lower qualification will be considered.
  2. He/she would fail to qualify for the post of Stenographer if they don’t have the required amount of knowledge and experience in working in Telugu or Urdu Language.
  3. If any one of the above languages are known by the applicant, the applicant will be considered without any hesitation.

Age Limit:

  • The age-limit as per the job requirement is the age of the applicant must not be less then 18 years, and not more than 34 years.
  • Age-Relaxations are to be given to some, by submitting the suitable documents.
  • Age-relaxation for Scheduled-Caste, Scheduled-tribe and Backward class can be 5 years more or less.
  • Age-relaxation granted for Physically Handicapped applicants is 10 Years.
  • Age relaxation for ex-Servicemen is 10 years, as well.

Selection Process:

  1. Selection Process is simple, by Interview, oral examinations or skill-tests.
  2. All the Applications submitted will be verified and accordingly, candidates selected will be short-listed.
  3. The list will be wither displayed on the website itself, or either the applicant will be sent notification through email .
  4. When the applicant has completed their Interview or written test, they will be called for the next round through email. Henceforth, valid email must be submitted.
  5. Also, the call-letter might not be sent through mail and hence, the applicant must maintain the print out and carry with them while reaching the premises for further round.
  6. In the written-exam, the applicant will be served with questions ranging from testing their general knowledge, rational-skills, English-skills, and reasoning ability. So, little bit of background reference of books must be done.
  7. All the main subjects included in the written test examination will be judiciary, educational related questions, questions based on general knowledge.
  8. For testing, stenography, applicants will be called and marked accordingly.
  9. In written exam, total marks will be 50 out of which 30 is for typing speed and accuracy and rest 20 is for oral examination.
  10. The shortlisted applicants according to the merit, or according to reservation will be displayed.
  11. The applicant applying must be fit enough to get hired.
  12. Applicant’s character must be decent to be considered for the job.
  13. In interview, the applicant will be judged on their presence of their mind and answering skills.

How to Apply:

Applications must be only sent through postal services or either Courier service, and no direct applications will be considered or allowed.

Applications must have attachments which will consist all attested copies of testimonials such as educational qualification, date of birth, other certificates, caste certificates.

  1. Employment Registration Card must be attached to the application form.
  2. People having certain Disability must attach their certificates respectively.
  3. Three passport sized photographs with suitable and prescribed dimensions must be attached.
  4. Passport-Photographs must be attested with a working Gazette officer.
  5. Stamp cover worth 25Rs. must be on the envelope itself.
  6. Other relevant certificates in order to gain relaxation, etc must also be attached.
  7. Ex-Servicemen must attach their certificates accordingly.
  8. All these applicants, forms, documents must be addressed and sent to PRL District and Sessions Judge, in Medak at Sangareddy.
  9. All applications must be submitted, collected and verified on and before 23rd May,2016 before 5pm.

  1. Application fee is mainly Rs.200 and must be sent as a Demand draft through a well-known bank.
  2. Applicants from Caste like Scheduled-Caste, Scheduled-tribe and Backward class Are not liable to pay application or examination fee.
  3. Ex-Servicemen aren’t required to pay any application or examination fee.

For Copyist

  • The candidate should be an intermediate (10+2) pass; he should have passed intermediate from Andhra Pradesh State Board of Intermediate Education or any other equivalent board or university.
  • The technical qualifications required are – He should have passed Andhra Pradesh Government Technical Examination in English typing with good grades.
  • The candidate should be proficient in Telugu and Urdu languages

For Office subordinates

  • The candidate should be at least 8th class pass. He should know how to ride a bicycle.

Age Limit:

  • The age limit for all the three post namely Copyist; Office subordinates; Stenographer Grade-III is the same.
  • The candidate should be in the age group of 18 years to 34 years, as on 01.07.16.
  • There is age relaxation of five years for the candidates belonging to the SC/St/BC candidates; and age relation for ten years for the PWD candidates and Ex- Servicemen.

Selection Process:

For Copyist recruitment:

  • After the candidates submit their application. They will have to appear for a written test. The written test will have a single question paper; which will be divided into four sections namely General English, General Knowledge, Judiciary, General Science and General Maths. The written test will be conducted on O.M.R technology and will carry 50 marks weightage. Candidates of the general category have to score minimum 40% marks; candidates of the BC category have to score minimum 35% marks and candidates of the SC/ST category have to score minimum 30% marks to qualify the written test.
  • After the written test the candidates will have to appear for the skill test. The skill test will have a weightage of 30 marks. In the skill test the candidates of the general category have to secure minimum  50% marks and the candidates of the BC/SC/ST category have to secure minimum 40% marks to qualify the skill test.
  • A merit list of the candidates who qualify in the written and skill test will be developed category wise. These candidates will then be called for an interview.
  • Candidates who pass the interview will be recruited for the copyist post and the post of Stenographer Grade-III respectively.

Selection process for Office subordinates:

  • The candidates will have submit their application in the prescribes Performa and post or courier it to The Prl. District and Sessions Judge, Medak at Sangareddy. The candidates will be called for an interview; those who qualify the interview will be appointed as Office subordinates


  • The decision of Prl. District Judge, Medak at Sangareddy, is final and cannot be questioned in any way.
  • The candidate should be sound health wise and should not be suffering from any chronic disease.

Salary Structure:

The candidates who will be appointed as copyist  in Andhra Pradesh Judicial Ministerial Services; in the Prl. District and Sessions Judge Medak at Sangareddy will be under the pay scale of Rs 15460 –  47330/- (R.P.S 2015)

How to Apply:

  • The interested candidates have to apply by sending their application on the basis of the prescribed format. They have to post or courier it to The Prl. District and Sessions Judge, Medak at Sangareddy.
  • The candidates will also have to enclose attested copies of their mark sheets, qualification certificate; certificate to prove their professional skills; date of birth certificate; community certificate; medical certificate of disability for the PWD candidates and other testimonials along with the application.
  • The candidates have to affix one passport size photograph on the application form; one on the admit card and another on the duplicate admit card or hall ticket..
  • The candidates also have to enclose a demand draft of Rs 200/- as examination fee along with the application.
  • They also have to enclose a self addressed stamp cover of Rs 25/- along with the application. The candidates have to mention the notification number and name of the post applied for on top of the envelop of the application.

General instructions:

  • Appointed candidates can avail benefits of the Contributory Pension Scheme and the existing pension scheme as per Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules 1980 will not be applicable to them.
  • Candidates have to submit application in accordance to the prescribed format, applications in any other format will be rejected.
  • The candidates who apply for the post of copyist will have to bring their own typewriters for the skill test.
  • No T.A and D.A will be provided to the candidates appearing for the written test, skill test and interview.
  • Incomplete applications; applications lacking certificates and testimonials; and self addressed  stamp cover of Rs 25/-  and demand draft of Rs 200   will be rejected.
  • Applications received prior to the notification and after the last date of submission will be rejected.
  • Candidates trying to bag the posts on the basis of any kind of influence will be disqualified.
  • Candidates have to enter the examination hall for the written test at least half an hour before the examination starts; their hall tickets will be verified before they sit for the exam.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination after 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall till the examination duration Is over.
  • The candidates have to bring H.B pencil. Eraser and ball point pen at the time of written examination.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry any bags, mobiles, any electronic devices inside the examination hall.
  • Candidates have to mention their admit card number on the top of the answer sheets.
  • Candidates taking to unfair means to answer the written exam will be disqualified. Candidates have to maintain silence in the examination hall.

  • The candidates will have to submit  an examination fee through  demand draft of Rs 200/- ) in favor of Prl. District & Sessions Judge, Medak at Sangareddy , drawn in any nationalized bank, payable at State Bank of Hyderabad, Main Branch Sangareddy, Medak District.
  • The candidates have to mention the details of the demand draft on the application at the right column.
  • The candidate also has to write down his name at the back of the demand draft.
  • Examination fee once paid is non refundable.
  • The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the payment of the examination fee.
