The applicant is capable to meet all the eligibility requirements given in the notification. The eligibility of IBPS clerk is sectorised into three categories. The applicant must qualify in all three sections

  1. Nationality / Citizenship
  2. Age Limit
  3. Educational Qualification

Nationality:

It refers that applicant belongs to the particular nation.

  1. Citizen of India
  2. Citizen of Nepal
  3. Citizen of Bhutan
  4. A Tibetan refugee

Note: Migrated Peoples from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit:

The applicant who are applying the IBPS Clerk Exam  the Age Limit is under 20 – 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable for the applicants who are belongs to the Reservations castes.

7 Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 years
8 Regular employees of the Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal retrenched from service (Applicable to Madhya Pradesh state only) 5 years

Educational Qualification:

  1. Graduation is mandatory for the applicants
  2. 100%  central government or state government  recognized university certificates are only valid for IBPS.
  3. Astonishing knowledge in computers. The applicants have knowledge on operating computers. Technology
  4. Familiarity and expertise on local languages
