Ferro Scrap Nigam Limited is a Mini Ratna – II Government of India Undertaking engaged in rendering specialized services to the customer Plants in Scrap management & Allied jobs. The Company is on the lookout for experienced candidates to meet the requirement of executives in the disciplines of Mechanical Maintenance, Project Engineering, Design & Development, Personnel & Administration and Materials Management. Following are the details for the candidates need to follow;

Notification Details:

  • The candidates who are interested in the vacancies against various posts need to apply for the post on their official website fsnl.nic.in under career tab and read the following instructions.
  • The candidate need to apply for the post on or before 30.03.2017
  • The candidates are required to send the application form in A4 size with the relevant documents attached to it.
  • The application in an envelope super-scribing the post applied for along with a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (SC/ST/Divyang Candidates exempted) drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Bhilai favoring Ferro Scrap Nigam Limited, Bhilai, may be sent through Post only to Asst. The reservations for the Divyang persons are given below;

  • Partially Deaf- 01 for Material Mgmt. Executive.
  • OL- 01 for Personnel & Adm. Jr. Manager.

Note 1: Persons with the Degree of disability of 40% and above shall alone be eligible for applying for the Divyang category.

Note 2: The Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies irrespective of time.

Required Qualification:

  1. The required qualification for the candidate is listed below;
Category Qualification
Mechanical Maintenance Degree in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering from a recognized University. Diploma holders from a recognized University / an institute of repute, in the above discipline, can also apply for the post of Jr. Manager.
Project Engineering & Design & Development Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics/ Mining / Metallurgical/ Production / Automobile Engineering from a recognized University with specialization in Mechanical/ Structural design. Diploma holders from a recognized University / an institution of repute, in the above discipline, can also apply for the post of Dy. Manager
Personnel & Administration Graduate in any discipline with Two years full time MBA or PGDBA having specialization in Human Resources Management from a Recognized University / Institution of repute approved by AICTE/UGC or Post Graduate Degree in Labour & Social Welfare or full time Two Years Diploma course in Personnel Management, M.A. in Sociology from a Recognized University / Institution of repute approved by UGC/AICTE. Degree in Law from a recognized university/institution of repute will be an added advantage.
Materials Management Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, with Two Years full-time Diploma in Materials Management from a Recognized University / educational Institution of repute, approved by AICTE/UGC or Two years full-time MBA in Materials Management from a Recognized University/institution of repute approved by AICTE / UGC or CA/ ICWA.
  1. Experience:
  • The candidate applying for the post of Executive (Maint.) Mechanical must have post qualification experience of 1 year and above for Degree Holders and 3 years and above for Diploma Holders.
  • The candidate applying for the post of Jr. Manager (Maint.) Mechanical must have post qualification experience of 3 years and above for Degree holders and 6 years and above for Diploma holders.
  • The candidate applying for the post of Dy. Manager (Project Engineering & Design & Development) must have post qualification experience of 9 years and above for Degree holders and 17 years and above for Diploma holders.
  • The candidate applying for the post of Jr. Manager (Personnel & Administration) must have post qualification experience of 3 years and above, out of which must have worked at least 1 year in the immediate lower grade of Rs. 12600-3%-32500/-
  • The candidate applying for the post Dy. Manager (Personnel & Administration) must have post qualification experience of 9 years and above, out of which must have worked at least 1 year in the immediate lower grade of Rs. 24900-3%-50500/-.
  • The candidate applying for the post Executive (Materials Management) must have post qualification experience of 1 year and above.
  • The candidate applying for the post Jr. Manager (Materials Management) must have post qualification experience of 3 years and above, out of which must have worked at least 1 year in the immediate lower grade of Rs. 12600-3%-32500/-.

Age Limit:

  • The age barrier is below 28 years for Executive (Maint.) Mechanical, and for Executive (Materials Management).
  • The age barrier is below 30 years for Jr. Executive (Materials Management), Jr. Manager (Personnel & Administration) and for Jr. Manager (Materials Management).
  • The age barrier is below 40 years for Dy. Manager (Project Engineering & Design & Development) and for Dy. Manager (Personnel & Administration).
  • However, the OBC candidates are relaxed up to 03 years, SC/ST up to 05 years and Divyang candidates for 10 years.

Selection Process:

  • The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
  • The interviewed candidates will be again shortlisted to get selected for the post according to their performance.

Salary Structure:

The salary structure for the vacancies varies as per the post which is listed below;
