CBSE CTET Exam September 2017

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi has released a notification on its official website. According to the Notification, the Board will be conducting its Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 18th September 2017. According to the advertisement, this year the Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting its 10th Edition of CTET Exam for Teachers. The mode of Examination will be Online where the aspirants who want to get appointed as a teacher for std I to VII can appear for the test. The aspirants will have to fill and submit their Application Form in order to appear for the CTET Exam September 2017 before the last date runs out.

The CTET Exams is applicable for schools under the Central Government such as NVS, KVS, etc. and the schools which are under administrative control of Union Territories of NCT of Delhi, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Island, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Chandigarh. The aspirants can fill and submit the application form which will be available on the official site of CTET Exam September 2017 from 22nd June 2017.

About Central Board of Secondary Education:

The UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education was incorporated in 1921 and saw rapid growth which was the foundation stone for the now known Central Board of Secondary Education which was officially amended in 1952 which was reconstituted in 1962 and finally started working. The Central Board of Secondary Education has more than 15,799 schools under its affiliation where 197 of schools are situated in 23 different countries. Further, the Board has over 14 Central Tibetan Schools, 585 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, 2482 Government and Aided Schools, 1078 Kendriya Vidyalayas, and 11,443 independent schools which comprises for the total schools of more than 15,799 schools.

CTET Examination Schedule:

The Mood of examination will be Online where the aspirants will be allotted centres across various affiliated schools. Following is the Schedule of Examination  –

Date of Exam Paper Timing Duration
18th September 2016 Paper – II 09.30 to 12.00 Hours 2.30 Hours
18th September 2016 Paper – I 14.00 to 16.30 Hours 2.30 Hours

Application Fee:

The aspirants belonging to OBC General category are required to pay application fee of 600/- for 1 paper. The aspirants who wish to appear for both the papers can pay 1,000/- as application fee.

The aspirants belonging to SC or ST or Differently-able category will have to pay 300/- as application fee for 1 paper. The aspirants who wish to appear for both the papers can pay 500/- as application fee.

The aspirants can pay the fees online after the submission of Application Form through Credit Card or Debit Card or through Online banking.

Important Dates:

As per the official notification released by the Central Board of Secondary Education, following are the important dates –

Submission of Online Application Form – 22nd June 2017 to 18th July 2017.

Last Date for submission of fee through Credit/ Debit Card or E-Challan – 19th July 2017 at 15.30 hrs

Final Status of Candidates – 20th July 2017

Period of Online Corrections in Particulars – 20th July 2017 to 25th July 2017
