CAT Notification 2017:

CAT stands for Common Entrance Test and the  Indian institute of the Management studies conduct test for the admission In the MBA program. They declared the CAT notification 2017 for which is an all India online test. Many B- schools in India consider CAT score for their admission procedure.On 2009 onward CAT became a online exam, and this year the test is going to be held on Nov 2017 across 138 cities. In order to select the test cities the candidates will be give 4 option according to their convenience and the seat will be assigned to them after the completion of all the registration process. The notification for the CAT is going to be published on July 2017 and according to this IIM will provide 12 different courses for the candidate will clear the CAT exam  this year.

CAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification University Minimum Percent Required Percentage
Bachelor’s Degree from any University Recognized by UGC 50% (45% for SC, ST, PWD candidates)
Engineering Degree – B.Tech/ B.E. Recognized by MHRD/ UPSC/AICTE 50% (45% for SC, ST, PWD candidates)
final year students of the Bachelor’s degree aslo can get the chance. Recognized by MHRD/ UPSC/AICTE or UGC 50% (45% for SC, ST, PWD candidates)

Document Required for Filing Application:

Keep all this ready in front of you before you start filling up the form

a) Personal information (your personal mobile number, name, parent’s name,  date of birth, parent’s mobile number, etc.).

b) Address

c) Degree details

e) Choice of  examination cities,

f) Your photograph.

g) Signature

h) Scanned copy of Caste certificate (if applicable) in pdf format.

i) Your net-banking details

How to Apply For CAT 2017 Exam:

The interested candidates who are eligible for the exam can apply from the official portal of the commission  i.e.

The candidates applying  for the CAT 2017 has to register first then only he/she can access the form. Here we try to compile all the required steps for the applying online.

  1. Visit the online application link and login with your credentials
  2. Fill up all the required information like Personal information (your personal mobile number, name, parent’s name,  date of birth, parent’s mobile number, etc.).
  3. Upload all the relevant certificates photo, thumb impression and the signature
  4. Check all the information entered by you again
  5. Then click the submit button
  6. Then you will be directed to the payment  CAT 2017 way to pay the fee by debit card or by net banking or by e-challan.
  7. Take a print of the receipt copy which is generated online
