The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is willing to conduct exams which are named as APPSC Departmental Test. The short form of this exam is known as APPSC. This test is conducted so that many candidates can willingly get admissions in many of the departments of the Commission. Those who wish to work for the higher section in many of the APPSC Departments; they can apply to many of the vacancies which have been made available in the APPSC Departmental Test 2017-18.   • Those who are already working in the different departments in Andhra Pradesh are considered to be eligible to apply and visit for the exam.
2. Divisional test
3. Mines and geology Department
4. Workshop Officers and others
5. Sericulture department
6. Commercial Taxes Department
7. Works accounts services

About the APPSC Departmental Test 2017-18:

  • This is the exam which is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, with the only purpose of having the aspirants admitted to a higher section in many of the APPSC Departments.
  • The exam comprises of two modes of exams, which have Objective type papers for 2 hours and Conventional writing type papers held for 3 hours.
  • Applications filled shall be rejected if the photo or signatures aren’t signed in.
  • If the fee is not paid, if the form is not filled properly, the entry shall not be considered as correct.
  • The date of the exam has been documented to be between the 6th June 2017to 14th June 2017.
  • This exam will ensure that one gets entry into the courses or organizations which are registered under the valid APPSC exam brochure as per the notifications.

How to Apply for the APPSC Departmental Test 2017-18:

  • Primarily, all the candidates will be required to visit the official website which is hyperlinked as
  • Then on the very first page of APPSC, you will find a tab which says “Departmental Tests”. You need to click on it.
  • Then click on the Apply online option so that to grant access for applying the forms online.
  • Fill the blanks in the form online properly, and have a second check.
  • Pay the examination fee as per the mode which has been specified.
  • Upload all your required documents and the testimonials properly as per the information provided to you.
  • Upload a recent phot and a digital signature by scanning on the application form.
  • Have a double check, and take a print of the filled form and click on the submit command.
  • There are many criteria’s where the form can be discarded such as when if the photo or signatures aren’t signed in.
  • If the fee is not paid, if the form is not filled properly, the entry shall not be considered as correct.
  • The direct entry or submission of forms on the counter won’t be allowed at all.

  • 50 INR has to be paid for each and every test.
  • 50 INR has to be paid as the examination fee to the given address.
  • No fee shall be returned if the entry is discarded or not shortlisted.
