The DEECET recently posted notification for AP DEECET Results 2017 on its website. Formerly known as DIETCET or District Institutes of Education and Training Common Entrance Test and later changed to DEECET which has the form of Diploma in Elementary Common Entrance Test. This course is basically regarding the training of teaching. The candidates interested in the field of teaching have after 12TH must clear this examination which is held in the month of may. In Andhra Pradesh state there are about 20,000 seats available for the course of DEECET and in Telangana state there are almost 14000 seats available. The candidates belonging to scheduled tribes and scheduled caste must secure 30% marks in the exams for consideration against seats under OC/NCC/CAP. The candidates belonging to other caste communities must secure 40% marks in DEECET exams. Candidates belonging to backward class and physically challenged communities must secure 35% marks.

About AP DEECET 2017 :
The state of Andhra Pradesh conducts the AP Deecet 2017 exams in order to recruit candidates for various positions available. The examination can be appeared in any of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidate have the right to choose their district of examination . When the seats are filled of a particular district its name will not be displayed in the list of centres for selection. Candidate can get the complete information on its official website.
Candidate applying for the examination must have completed 17 years, students of upper age limit will not be considered. Candidates who have passed 12th standard final examination are eligible to appear the DEECET exams. Candidate must have secured 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exams to get admission after appearing for DEECET exams. Candidates with low percentage will not be considered to appear for exams. The minimum percentage of marks for the candidates belonging to schedule caste, schedule tribe and physically challenged must have aggregate 45% marks obtained. The candidate who have passed intermediate with vocational courses are not eligible to appear for the exams.
