WB Board Madhyamik Result 2016 – WB Board 10th Class Result 2016 will be announced on 10th May, 2016

The Class X or Madhyamik Pariksha results will be declared on 10th May 2016. It is needed that students who appeared for the exams this year, they should be nervous as this year the results are expected to be pretty good than the previous year. Instructions to check WB Board Madhyamik Result 2016.

Here are simple instructions to check Class X Results on the official website of the board –

  • The candidate is required to visit the www.wbresults.nic.in which is the website of WB Board.
  • Now the students will have to click on the link “Madhyamik Results 2016”.
  • Then the students will be asked to enter their Name, Roll No. and then click on Submit.
  • Here the results will be displayed.
  • The students can take the printout of the results for future use.

About WB Board –

West Bengal Board or WBBSE, it is also known as West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The Board is administered by the state government. The WB Board conducts state level examinations for Secondary classes. The Board is responsible for designing policies and syllabus for all classes affiliated under the Board. The WB Board has hundreds of government and private schools under its affiliation. Madhyamik Pariksha or Secondary Exams are conducted by the board across all its affiliated schools. The main objective of the WB Board is to improve the level of education in the state.

The WB Board conducts the Madhyamik Pariksha or Secondary examinations every year in the month of March. The results are out in around the month of May every year. For all the candidates who appeared for the class X examinations this year, the good news is that the WB Board has declared the date of Results. The Results will be declared on 10th May 2016. The students can view their results once the results are declared.

The expected number of candidates who appeared for Class X Examinations this year is suggested to be more than 5 lakhs. The number of students who appeared for the exams last year was more than 4 Lakhs. The students can log on to the official website of WB Board that is www.wbresults.nic.in  where the results will be declared on 10th May 2016.

Given above are the statistics from the year 2012 to 2016. As per the statistics, it can be observed that there is a gradual increase in the number of candidates qualifying for a senior secondary level. As of 2015, out of the total students who appeared for the Class X Examination, 81.80% students were successful. Hence, it is expected that this year, around 84.50% students will pass the Class X Examinations. As per the trends being followed each year, it has been noticed that there is an increase in the number of girls passing the examinations which are always more than that of boys passing the examinations. Hence, this year, it is expected that out of the total candidates passing the exams, there would be 83.56% of boys and 83.93% of girls.
