About UP Board:
The Uttar Pradesh Higher Education department functions as a full-fledged subsidiary of the government of Uttar Pradesh and has a highly organized structure. The organization aims to create a well-balanced and all round education to students admitted through its recognized schools. The Main Examination: Currently, The board of High school and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh conducts its intermediate examinations throughout the year in the month of March, and supplementary examination for students fail to pass in the month of May. There are a total of 10 groups of subjects a student could choose from, although due to practical difficulty, the groups are restricted to 25 in which most students join and take up examinations. Core subjects including physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and commerce group with subjects of commerce, accountancy, business mathematics, and computer science are offered by the institution. Vocational groups and trade oriented groups that include motor winding, office secretary ship. Traditional groups such as agriculture, horticulture, motor winding, type writing etc. are also provided by the board. The examination centres prescribed by the board and it also employs special invigilators to make sure no unfair means of practices are adopted by students. The result put forth by the board will include cumulative marks of all subjects including theory, practical, viva voce, etc.
Re-evaluation and Rechecking of Answer Scripts:
Re-evaluation of answer scripts are considered only for failed students in one subject or multiple subjects by the board. The students are requested to file an application along with fees for revaluation and supplementary examination within 20 days from the date of release of results.
