Tamil Nadu 12th Class Result 2016
The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary education abbreviated as TNBSC conducted HSC or higher secondary examination in the 10+2 system for its students in March 2016. The results are expected to be released in the month of May, and the tentative date arrived at May 7, 2016, although no official confirmation on the date has been declared. Once the result declaration date has been set press releases to all leading media and newspapers would be intimated on the release date. The results are expected to be published as early as possible preferably within the first week of May. Given the date wise examination result declaration, last year, the results were declared by May first week. Owing to upcoming assembly elections in the state, there are fair chances for the results to be delayed. In any case, the public would be adequately notified on the result declaration date.

- You can go into the result sections, where the fields that show marks, name, roll number, etc. are provided.
- A prompt to enter your registration number will be shown. You need to enter your roll number in the field.
- One can check for the number if you have your hall ticket that was dispatched to you during the examination. You are also expected to enter your name, mobile number and email id on the columns mentioned. You get the results
The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education functions as a subsidiary of Department of Education in the state of Tamil Nadu, and conducts examination for 10th standard and 12th standard students of its constituent students. The Main Examination: Currently, Tamil Nadu HSC conducts annual examinations through the year in the month of March, and supplementary examination for students who are yet to pass in the month of May. There are a total of 2500 groups of subjects a student could choose from, although due to practical difficulty, the groups are restricted to 25 in which most students join and take up examinations. Core subjects including physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and commerce group with subjects of commerce, accountancy, business mathematics, and computer science are offered by the institution. Many vocational groups and trade oriented groups that include motor winding, office secretary ship. Traditional groups such as agriculture, horticulture, motor winding, type writing etc. are all provided. The examinations are conducted at the examination centres prescribed by the department and it also employs special invigilators to oversee the examination process. The final result put forward by the organization will include cumulative marks of all subjects including theory, practical, viva voice, etc.
Re-evaluation and Rechecking of Answer Scripts:
The board provides option for the students to apply for re totalling of answer sheets in case the student has failed. An application form along with the prescribed fees is submitted to the competent authority within a period of 15 days from the declaration of results.
The strength of TN HSC lies in its organizational structure, and consistent improvement on its quality of education including training provided to teachers. The organization employs talent search and other methods to identify exceptional students and award them with scholarships.
