JEE Main Results 2016

JEE Main Results 2016 declared by CBSE on April 27:

The Students who had appeared for JEE , shall check their JEE main results Online. CBSE Boards will announce the results which is main authority who looked after the conductance of the examination. The result marks will contain all the Offline and Online examination results, also the ranks of the applicant accordingly to the JEE exams. However, an important note to note down is that, no physical hard copy of the result be will issued to the applicants ,all the candidates must download their result copy from the website itself when it is displayed.

HOW TO CHECK THE JEE MAIN RESULTS:

  1. All the Applicants must visit the http://jeemain.nic.in/webinfo/Public/Home.aspx or http://cbseresults.nic.in/ which they are notified for after for checking of their examination results.
  2. Tap on the JEE Mains Result 2016.
  3. The page redirected to the another page
  4. Enter the fields like “Date of Birth”, “Registration ID”, and “Password” columns.
  5. Click on the “Results” button
  6. The results are appeared whether the candidate qualified or disqualified.
  7. This is the main key of identification of an applicant.
  8. After entering both the important details, all the offline and online mode examination results will b displayed.
  9. Marks out of 360 will be displayed on screen.
  10. Marks as in, the real score-cards will be displayed on the window of the website.
  11. Or else, if not the personal details , then the applicant will be notified  for submitting application or registration number on the website, this is how the applicants will be identified like in board examinations.
  12. JEE Main results will be in two of the respective parts,  firstly, the main JEE and second one is All India Rank.
  13. According to the ranks, top five of the applicants will be displayed on the official website.
  14. Alongside of JEE Main results, the website will also display varied other notifications.
  15. Including the notifications, there would be details about further studies, important dates, important announcements made, the cut off score needed to apply for IIT
  16. Eligibility criteria for applying for the good course  IIT will be seen to be shown on the same window
  17. JEE Main performance will be entirely based on the applicants performance in both, online and offline mode of giving examination.
  18. Also, the HSC Marks will be accounted as in ratio of 6:4
  19. Ranks will be displayed and calculated according to comparison of both, JEE marks and performance and also, HSC Marks and performance.

NOTIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS:

  1. The scorecard generated by the official website must be maintained.
  2. Hard-copy of the score cards must be kept for applying further in colleges and universities.
  3. As per the rankings, those applicants will be given independent choices of selecting some courses according to their choice.
  4. However, one must note down that, just granting of choice doesn’t means ensurity of the seat or reservation of the seat at all.
  5. All the verification of the documents will be done while taking admissions in any college.
  6. Admissions will be granted only pertaining to the submissions and getting the original documents verified.
  7. All the required Brochures of colleges offering courses after JEE Main etc. all the information is given successfully on the official website.

CUT-OFF SCORE FOR JEE MAIN ACCORDING TO CATEGORIES:

  1. Cut-off score for Scheduled Tribes is 44 marks
  2. Cut-off score for Schedule Caste 50 marks
  3. Cut-off score for Other Backward Classes 70 marks
  4. Cut-off score for General Open category 105 marks

WHAT IS NEXT?

  1. JEE Main performance will be entirely based on the applicants performance in both, online and offline mode of giving examination.
  2. Also, the HSC Marks will be accounted as in ratio of 6:4 .
  3. Ranks will be displayed and calculated according to comparison of both, JEE marks and performance and also, HSC Marks and performance
  4. According to ranks admissions will be offered in B.E OR in B.Tech
  5. According to ranks admissions will be offered in B.Arch OR B.Planning
  6. These admission list will be given in July onwards.
  7. All clubbed marks of ranking, category wise marks, All india ranking will be available on the website after sometime of release of JEE results.

LIST RANKING FOR ADMISSIONS IN B.Tech/B.A:

  1. Marks obtained in Maths in JEE will be counted for. Applicant having high marks in this subject will be ranked likewise.
  2. Marks obtained in Physics in JEE will be counted for. Applicant having high marks in this subject will be ranked likewise.
  3. All marks of the JEE, 12th also normalized marks will be calculated and the applicants successfully getting required marks according to them will be given preference.
  4. Applicants which have positive and negative marking scheme so, their marks in both the ways will be calculated and passing on given set of rules for scoring the required marks in both will qualify.

LIST RANKING IN B.ARCH/B.PLANNING:

  1. Applicants who score well in aptitude tests will be preferred.
  2. Also, in Drawing paper the applicant who has the most high marks will be given preference.
  3. All marks of the JEE, 12th also normalized marks will be calculated and the applicants successfully getting required marks according to them will be given preference.
  4. Applicants which have positive and negative marking scheme.
