IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2017:

IBPS SO Exam Pattern: Now a Days candidates after graduation are trying for Bank Jobs. Get Bank job is very difficult it needs hard work with planning. IBPS is conducting Specialist Officer (SO) Exam every year for requirement in 19 nationalized banks. Candidates who are preparing for IBPS SO exam can download the updated IBPS SO Exam Pattern and Syllabus along with the tips to prepare SO Exam. IBPS SO Exam is to pick out candidates for Specialist Officers. Applied Students can go through the Online tests and then if on success can apply for Interview Section. IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment

Total Marks for IBPS SO: 300 Marks (In 2 parts)

  • Written Examination : 200 Marks
  • Weightage of Both the Exams : 80: 20 Ratio ( 200 Marks: 100 Marks)
  • Interview: 100 Marks
  • Minimum requirement of Marks: 40 % For Open, 35 % For (SC/ST/OBC/Backward class)

Keynotes the Applicant must know:

  • Time: 120 Minutes or 2 Hours
  • Type of Questions: Objective type
  • Number of Questions: 200
  • Each Question :1 mark
  • Pattern of Marking: Negative marking (0.25 or ¼ th marks are reduced for each wrong answer)

Exam Pattern For IBPS SO IT Officer:

There are 2 scaled- paper in this section. Scale 1 and Scale 2.

It is basically and objective type paper with four sections in it. Reasoning, Aptitude, English skills and General knowledge.

REASONING SECTION:

This section has logical reasoning. There are 50 questions of 25 marks, means each question comprise of 2 marks each.

Whole examination would be again of 200 marks. Four sections involved , Reasoning, Professional knowledge, English  skills and General Knowledge. There will be negative marking scheme of ¼ th of marks .

Reasoning section has :50 marks

Professional knowledge has 75 marks

English  skills :25  marks

General Knowledge :50 marks

Total weightage would be 200 marks.
