Vacancy Details:

8. Nursing Assistant 02 Nos – Both the seats belong to unreserved class.

Required Qualification:

As per the advertisement posted by the Goa Police Recruitment 2016, following are the essential qualification required to be eligible for the desired posts  –

Pharmacist:

  • Candidate must have the degree or diploma of pharmacy from a recognized university.
  • They must know Konkani language.
  • Candidate must be registered with the State Council of Pharmacy.
  • If candidate have the degree of Pharmacy they must have 2 years of experience and if they have diploma they must have the experience of 3 years from a reputed Pharmacy.
  • Candidates must not have exceeding 45 years as on the closing date for receipt application form i.e. 16/08/2016.
  • They must born between 17/08/1971 and 16/08/1998.
  • There is relaxable for Government servants of up to 5 years according to the instructions issued by the government.

Stenographer:

  • Candidate must be computer literate.
  • Candidate must have the Certificate of HSC or he / she must have Diploma approved by the (AICTE) All India Council for Technical Education awarded by a recognized board.
  • They must have shorthand speed of at least 100 words per minute and he / she must have 35 words per minute in type writing.
  • Candidate must know Konkani
  • Candidates must not have exceeding 45 years as on the closing date for receipt application form i.e. 16/08/2016.
  • They must born between 17/08/1971 and 16/08/1998.
  • There is relaxable for Government servants of up to 5 years according to the instructions issued by the government.

Police Constable:

  • Candidate must have the degree of SSCE or equivalent to it.
  • Candidates must not have exceeding 45 years as on the closing date for receipt application form i.e. 16/08/2016.
  • They must born between 17/08/1971 and 16/08/1998.
  • There is relaxable for Government servants of up to 5 years according to the instructions issued by the government.
  • Candidate must know Konkani.

Lower Division Clerk:

  • Candidate must have the degree of HSC or all India council for Technical education approved diploma awarded by a prescribed board.
  • They must be computer literate.
  • Candidates must not have exceeding 45 years as on the closing date for receipt application form i.e. 16/08/2016.
  • They must born between 17/08/1971 and 16/08/1998.
  • There is relaxable for Government servants of up to 5 years according to the instructions issued by the government.
  • Candidate must know Konkani.

Barber:

  • Aspirant must have at least appeared 4th std. or equivalent.
  • They must have practical experience in any licensed saloon.
  • Candidates must not have exceeding 45 years as on the closing date for receipt application form i.e. 16/08/2016.
  • They must born between 17/08/1971 and 16/08/1998.
  • There is relaxable for Government servants of up to 5 years according to the instructions issued by the government.
  • Candidate must know Konkani.

Mess Servant:

  • Candidate must be literate.
  • Candidate must have practical experience in any reputed hotel.
  • Candidates must not have exceeding 45 years as on the closing date for receipt application form i.e. 16/08/2016.
  • They must born between 17/08/1971 and 16/08/1998.
  • There is relaxable for Government servants of up to 5 years according to the instructions issued by the government.
  • Candidate must know Konkani.

Dhobi:

  • Candidate must be literate.
  • They must have practical experience of about 3 years in any licensed laundry.
  • Candidates must not have exceeding 45 years as on the closing date for receipt application form i.e. 16/08/2016.
  • They must born between 17/08/1971 and 16/08/1998.
  • There is relaxable for Government servants of up to 5 years according to the instructions issued by the Government.
  • Candidate must know Konkani.

Nursing Assistant:

  • Candidate must be 8th passed.
  • Candidates must not have exceeding 45 years as on the closing date for receipt application form i.e. 16/08/2016.

Age Limit:

The following advertisement issued by the Goa Department 2016 has given the information about the relaxable period  for different categories of candidates :

  • SC/ST/Children of freedom fighter/sports person

The aspirants belonging to the above category is eligible to receive 5 years as relaxation period.

  • SC/ST sportsperson

The aspirants belonging to the above category is eligible to receive 10 years as relaxation period.

  • OBC

The aspirants belonging to the above category is eligible to receive 3 years as relaxation period.

  • OBC Sports Person

The aspirants belonging to the above category is eligible to receive 8 years as relaxation period.

  • PWD

The aspirants belonging to the above category is eligible to receive 10 years as relaxation period.

  • SC/ST PWD

The aspirants belonging to the above category is eligible to receive 15 years as relaxation period.

  • OBC PWD

The aspirants belonging to the above category is eligible to receive 13 years as relaxation period.

  • Ex- serviceman

They shall be allowed to deduct the period of service in armed force, naval force, aviation based armed forces, CRPF. BSF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB from his actual age as on 16/08/2016.

Selection Process:

Following are the eligibility criteria and the Selection Process as mentioned by the advertisement posted by the Goa Police Recruitment 2016 –

  • The aspirants will have to undergo Written Examination or Practical Test which will be supervised by the selection panel organized by the Goa Police Department.
  • The selection committee will be responsible for selection of eligible candidates for Interview round after which the shortlisted candidates will be offered desired posts he / she applied for.

Below is the Eligibility Criteria  for the candidates who belong to sportsperson Category –

  • They must have represented a state or a country on national or international competition or they must have represented their university in inter-university sports board.
  • Person must be awarded with national awards in physical efficiency or the candidates who have represented state school teams.
  • The following games for which they are awarded are as follows: Archery, badminton, basketball, cricket, hockey ant etc.

Below is the Eligibility Criteria for Selection process of the candidates belonging to PWD:

  • This criteria is only eligible for the candidates not suffering less than 40% of the disability.
  • The post of barber is specified for the physically disabled candidates only i.e. having one leg or hearing handicapped.
  • The post of lower division clerk is also for physically disabled candidates only i.e. handicap with both legs, handicap with one leg, blind, having low vision, or hearing handicap.

Selection criteria for other categories are as follows:

  • Candidate must have passed computer course from a recognized institute for minimum 3 months duration.
  • The candidates who qualify in the documents verification for the posts of police constable, lower division clerk, and nursing assistant will be asked for written examination.
  • The examination will be higher secondary school certificate examination for the post of Lower division clerk, secondary school certificate examination for the post of Police constable, and 8th std. level for the post of nursing Assistant.
  • The written examination will be of 100 marks among which 25 marks will be for general knowledge, 25 marks for Mathematics, 25 marks for general English, 25 marks for Logical Reasoning.

Salary Structure:

As per the notification broadcasted by the Goa Police Recruitment 2016, following are the Salary Structure for the position discussed above –

Pharmacist

The aspirants will be eligible to receive the salary in the Pay band-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- plus grade pay of Rs. 2800/-

Stenographer

The aspirants will be eligible to receive the salary in the Pay band-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- plus grade pay of Rs. 2800/-

Police Constable

The aspirants will be eligible to receive the salary in the Pay band-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- plus grade pay of Rs. 2800/-

Lower Division Clerk

The aspirants will be eligible to receive the salary in the Pay band-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- plus grade pay of Rs. 2800/-

Barber

The aspirants will be eligible to receive the salary in the PB1 which is Rs. 5200 to 20200/-plus . 2800/- Grade Pay.

Mess Servant

The aspirants will be eligible to receive the salary in the Pay band-1S Rs. 4400 – 7400/- plus grade pay of Rs. 1,300/-

Dhobi

The aspirants will be eligible to receive the salary in the Pay band-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- plus grade pay of Rs. 2800/-

Nursing Assistant

The aspirants will be eligible to receive the salary in the Pay band-1S Rs. 4400 – 7,400/- plus grade pay of Rs. 1,300/-

Application/Processing fee:

The following advertisement issued contains the information about the application fee which the candidates have to pay:

  • Candidates belonging to general category have to pay Rs. 200.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/OBC/Ex- serviceman has to pay Rs. 100.

  • No certificates or any other documents are required to be attached with the application from.
