Cantonment Board Bakloh is hiring eligible candidate for the post of Tax Collector. Candidates are requested to submit duly filled application form before the deadline. Further information regarding the vacancy are provided below

Job Description:

Cantonment Board Bakloh currently require skilled and eligible candidate for the post of Tax collector.

Notification Details:

      Total No of Positions: 1

       Name of the Post: Tax collector

Age Limit:

Candidates’ age must be between 18 and 25 as on 15th June 2016. Upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is 05 years and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) is 03 years. Upper category of other category is as per Govt. rules

Required Qualification

Educational Qualification: 10+2 passed from any recognized University or Board of School Education

  1. Typing Speed: 30 words per minute in English typewriting and 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting

Selection Process:

  1. Candidate will be selected through written test followed by skill test
  2. Minimum marks to be secured in written test are 45 out of 75 marks. Total number of marks is 75. Duration of the test is 60 minutes. +1 mark for right answer and -0.25 marks for incorrect answer
  3. Candidates who clear the written test will be allowed to write the skill test. It is a test of candidates’ English and Hindi typing skills
  4. Typing speed has to be 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi
  5. Top scorer of both written test and skill test will be considered for the job. In case of tie between two candidates, preference will be given to candidate with higher age

Application Fee:

  1. Application fee of Rs. 300 must be paid by the candidates via Demand Draft (DD). This is a non-refundable fee.  Application fee must be drawn in favour of Chief Executive Officer, Bakloh Cantonment payable at Punjab National Bank, Bakloh or State Bank of India- Kakira Branch/IPO payable at Sub-Post Office, Bakloh
  2. Candidates must specify their name and address clearly at the back of the DD with black/blue ink. SC/ST candidates need not send the Demand Draft; however, they should submit their community certificate in order to get exemption from application fee
  3. Please note: Application fee of rejected applications will not be refunded

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be paid Rs. 5910- at the rate of 3%- Rs. 20,200 per month plus a grade pay of Rs. 1900

  2. Download the relevant application form
  3. Fill in the application form with correct details
  4. Affix photocopies of educational certificates as proof of educational qualification mentioned in the application
  5. Attach passport size photo
  6. Post the application form to the address mentioned below

Documents to attach along with the application form:

  1. Self-attested copies of birth certificate, educational certificate, community certificate (SC/ST/OBC- Non Creamy layer)
  2. One envelope of 5’x 11’ size that is self-addressed with postal stamp of Rs.40
  3. Two passport size colour photos (recently taken), one attached to the application and another one to be sent with the application to Cantonment Board

General Instructions

  1. Candidates can expect questions on current affairs (National and International), Indian History, Freedom movement, Indian Politics, Humanities (General Science and Math), Logical and Analytical reasoning
  2. Result for screening test will be declared on the same day on Cantonment Board’s notice board. Final results of the Skill test will be declared later
  3. Candidates must bear the cost for stay and food while appearing for the test. Cantonment will not bear any cost
  4. Candidates are requested to bring original educational certificate while appearing for the written/skill test
  5. Date, Time and Venue of the test will be announced separately to the eligible candidates
  6. Any type of telecommunication devices (mobiles, pagers) are banned inside the test center
  7. Candidates are solely responsible for any valuable items they bring to the test center. Cantonment Board will not be responsible for loss of any item
