About APICET –
APICET is an integrated Common Entrance Test which is conducted for admissions in MBA and MCA regular courses that are offered by State Universities and other educational institutions. The APICET 2016 for academic year 2016-17 will be held on 16th May 2016 which will be conducted by Andhra University on behalf of APSCHE. As per the statistics are concerned, Last year, 78755 applicants appeared for the APICET 2015 of which 63,768 candidates were qualified.

Any candidate who had applied for this Entrance Exam can collect his Hall ticket by going on to the official web portal of APICET the appropriate link is available.http://www.apicet.net.in/Content/frmHT.aspx The candidate can retrieve his/her hall ticket by visiting the official portal and entering the correct credentials as provided during the submission of application. The Hall ticket will be displayed for entered credentials. The Hall ticket are provided by the Exam conducting body by mode of online collection of the admit card.
The Admit Card is one of the most important document which is required to be produce before while attending any exams as without the admit card or hall ticket, no candidate is allowed to attend the exams. Hence, it is extremely important piece of paper.
AP ICET Pattern 2016:
The APICET 2016 Pattern consists of 200 Marks paper with 3 sections each containing 75 Marks.
- Analytical Ability (Section A)
It is further divided in two parts that is Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving and contains 75 question where 1 marks = 1 Question.
- Mathematical Ability (Section B)
It is further divided in three parts that is Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical and Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability and contains 75 questions in total where 1 Marks = 1 Question.
- Communication Ability (Section C)
The section consists of 4 parts namely Vocabulary, Business and Computer Terminology, Functional Grammar, and Reading Comprehension.
The Duration of the test is 2 ½ Hours or 150 minutes.
Eligibility for APICET 2016:
The Eligibility is the main aspect of APICET 2016. Following are the eligibility criteria for APICET 2016 –
For MCA Aspirants – The candidates are required to have passed their Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam with Mathematics as one of the subject in their 10+2 exams. 5% are relaxed for candidates of SC, ST categories.
For MBA Aspirants – The candidates are required to have passed their Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks and for candidates belonging to SC and ST Categories, the minimum eligibility is 45%.
The qualifying marks in APICET 2016 is 25% for General Category and for candidates belonging to SC and ST category, there is no constraint on the lower limit.
How to Download APICET Hall Ticket 2016 :
Following are the steps to download the hall ticket for the exams –
- The Candidate is required to visit the official website of APICET 2016 that is http://www.apicet.net.in/Content/frmHT.aspx
- Then he has to enter the Application number which was provided during the submission of application form.
- Then he has to enter the credentials for Date of Birth and click “Get Hall Ticket” to retrieve the respective hall ticket.
- The candidate is required to take a print out for future use.
